- PLoP is different than other conferences. Its focus is
improving the expression of patterns. Authors have the
opportunity to refine and extend their patterns with help from
knowledgeable and sympathetic fellow pattern

- PLoP is held at Allerton House, a mansion on a large, mostly
wooded estate that is owned by the University of
