Pattern Languages of Program Design, Volume 4

To be published by Addison-Wesley Longman as part of the Software Patterns Series.

The long awaited fourth volume in the Pattern Languages of Program Design series will be published in the summer of 1999. This series of books has provided a large body of patterns to the software community, and is helping to reshape the way software is developed.

Submissions were solicited from works which have been workshopped at one of the PLoP conferences, namely:

  • Patterns workshopped at PLoP '98 or EuroPLoP '98.
  • Patterns workshopped at PLoP '97 or EuroPLoP '97.
  • Patterns workshopped at 1996 and earlier PLoPs or EuroPLoPs which have not been published.

    Dates

    We have completed the process of selecting the chapters for the PLoPD4 volume. Authors were notified as to the disposition of their submissions on Tuesday, 9 March 1999. If you did not receive your notification, contact the editors at plop-plopd4@jerry.cs.uiuc.edu.

    Resubmissions of final manuscripts for copy editing will be due about 1 May 1999. Formatting and resubmission instructions will appear here soon.
